Caritas Valvuthayam Mannar is a Catholic Socio – economic & Community Development Centre of the Diocese of Mannar. It is operating in collaboration with Caritas Sri Lanka SEDEC which is affiliated with the Caritas Internationalis network of 162 Catholic Relief Development and Social Service Organizations.

CFD started on 31st January 1999 to serve People with Disabilities over the Mannar district.
Improved food security and Livelihoods of vulnerable households in the rural areas of Sri Lanka.
Computer skills to youth with gender balance to enhance their capacity for them to obtain suitable employment.
Mobilize and form Vigilant Committees in foal Villages for building Social cohesion, reconciliation and harmony through Peace.
Educational support to children from vulnerable families by providing them with financial assistance.

Your donation towards our work may be made by cheque drawn in favour of: “Caritas Valvuthayam” and posted to Mannar, Sri Lanka.
All contributions, however big or small, will be used for humanitarian service rendered by our organization, especially for the needy, the marginalized, and the voiceless communities.
