Caritas Valvuthayam, with the generous support of Mr. L. E. Murcott and family, has extended a helping hand to vulnerable families in need of hope and dignity.

Through this initiative, 24 deserving families are receiving monthly cash assistance to cover educational and medical expenses. Among them, 8 families with members battling cancer are supported with regular medical aid, while others benefit from vital educational assistance, especially for children studying for their GCE A/L examinations.

In a unique livelihood upliftment effort, poultry farming units have been provided to 12 families of children under educational assistance and 3 families of cancer patients. This support fosters self-reliance, nutritional improvement, and income generation. Additionally, 4 families facing critical medical conditions received special financial assistance.

This compassionate program demonstrates the deep impact of solidarity and support when hearts and hands come together to uplift the vulnerable.
