Caritas Valvuthayam solemnly celebrated a Special Memorial Mass for His Holiness Pope Francis on 28th April 2025 at the Caritas Valvuthayam Common Hall.
Staff and students of Caritas Valvuthayam gathered in deep prayer and reflection to honor the life, service, and enduring legacy of our beloved Holy Father.
The celebration began with a candlelight procession, during which the Director, staff, and students paid homage to His Holiness Pope Francis with deep reverence and heartfelt prayers.
The Memorial Mass, presided over by our Director, Rev. Fr. G.A. Arulraj Croos, was a moving tribute filled with Scripture readings, prayers of thanksgiving, and special intentions for the eternal rest of Pope Francis. His unwavering commitment to the poor, the environment, peace, and human dignity was beautifully remembered throughout the liturgy.
This Memorial Mass was not only a moment to mourn the loss of a great Shepherd but also an opportunity to celebrate his extraordinary witness of faith, humility, and compassion a legacy that will continue to inspire Caritas Valvuthayam’s mission of service and love.
We offer our prayers in gratitude for Pope Francis‘ life and pray that his soul may rejoice forever in the presence of the Lord.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Master.” (Matthew 25:21)
