Caritas-Valvuthayam Empowers Youth with New ICT Technician Course

Caritas-Valvuthayam Vocational Training Institute proudly launched new batches of the Information and Communication Technology Technician (ICTT) course on 1st September 2025.

This four-month certificate program is designed to equip young people with essential ICT skills, alongside complementary English and Sinhala language courses. The initiative aims to help youth make productive use of their interim period — whether they are awaiting university admission, pursuing higher education, or developing practical life and career skills.

A total of 34 students from Mannar and Vavuniya districts have enrolled and are currently pursuing their studies under the guidance of qualified instructors.

Through this program, Caritas-Valvuthayam continues its mission to empower youth through education and vocational training, preparing them to meet the demands of the modern job market and to become confident, skilled contributors to society.
