Caritas Valvuthayam organized its annual blood donation camp under the theme “Give Blood, Save Life.” on Thursday, August 1, 2024. The Blood donation campaign camp was successfully held to alleviate the blood shortage at the Mannar District General Hospital’s blood bank.
The blood donation camp commenced at 8:30 AM and more than 40 donors from various government departments, private companies, financial institutions, and public organizations within the Mannar district voluntarily offered a point of blood to save a life.
This blood donation camp was sponsored by MISEREOR, through the Healing and Reconciliation project of Caritas Valvuthayam. The Director of Caritas-Valvuthayam Rev. Fr. G.A. Arulraj Cross expressed his sincere gratitude to all participants and supporters of the blood donation camp.
