A special seminar was successfully conducted for Grade 5 Scholarship students at Mn/Nanattan Primary School in the Nanattan division on 19th July 2025,. The session was designed to academically strengthen and motivate students preparing for the crucial national exam.
The seminar was facilitated by two dedicated educators:
Mr. E. Murukavel, Primary Teacher Resource Person – Zonal Education Department, Mannar
Mr. I. Rahavan Croos, Teacher – Mn/Talaimannar Pier GTMS
A total of 93 students and 6 teachers from 8 schools participated in this impactful learning experience. The interactive sessions focused on key subjects, exam strategies, and confidence-building activities to help students perform to their full potential.
This initiative was organized by Caritas Valvuthayam – Mannar, in close collaboration with the Zonal Education Office – Mannar, and was generously supported by Caritas Korea under the project:
“Educational Assistance to Economic Crisis and War-Affected Poor Children in the Northern, Eastern, and North Central Provinces of Sri Lanka.”
