Physiotherapy and Counselling services at Madhu Division. Through Centre For Disabled unit Caritas-Valvuthayamconducted Physiotherapy and Counselling services at Soothynagar village from the Division of Madhu on 8thSeptember 2020. 13 numbers of clients were assessed for the physiotherapy treatment and they were advised to follow the basic treatment technics from their home itself. They received counsellingservices too through the counselor of Caritas-Valvuthayam. This programmes was organized by the staff of STROMME FOUNDATION.

We have started Palmyra Product training for CWD’s at Mn/Andankulam R.C.T. School
Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme with the help of Madhu Education Department we have started Palmyra Product training at Mn/Andankulam R.C.T. School – This course started on 17.08.2020 and it will continue for three month for Children with disabilities (CWD.’s) the funding partner of this programme is Good News Missionary from Mannar.

Covid 19 awareness programme for children
Through Religious Amity programme Caritas-Valvuthayamconducted Covid19 awareness proggramme for children. As schools are reopened after Covid19 pandemic, two awareness programmes organized at Alawakkai on 25.08.2020 where 31Children were participated and another organized on 27.08.2020 at Vaddakkandal village where 46 children were beneficiated. Children learned about the basic aware system of Covid19, importance of hygiene promotion activities and protective measures such as hand washing, social distance and wearing mask. Children were thankful to Caritas-Valvuthayam for thisvaluable awareness programme.
