The bishop of Mannar happily granted financial assistance to construct a new pre- school building for Siru Malar Pre School at Periyakamam, Mannar.

Siru malar Pre School new building corner stone ceremony washeld on first of September   2020 @09 am. The first foundation stone was laid by Rt. Rev. Dr. Pladis Immanuval Fernando Bishop of mannar and followed by him stones were laid by Rev. Fr. Victor Sosai vicar general diocese of Mannar, Rev.Fr. Gnanapragasam parish priest St. Sebastian cathedral, Rev. Fr. Jeyabalan procurator diocese of Mannar, Mrs. NirmalaDevelopment officer Periyakamam, Caritas Valvuthayam Staffs, Siru malar Pre – School Teachers children and Infant Jesus church committee members,  

Siru malar Pre -school has been functioning temporary atperiyakamam RDS building for the last twenty one years. It’sregistered under the zonal education department. 

The Pre-School runs under the administration and support ofCaritas Valvuthayam and the parish priest of St. Sebastian Cathedral.
