Caritas Valvuthayam with the funding assistance of Stromme Foundation has been promoting women-led enterprises in Madhu DS division. Under this programme, 05 enterprises are established along with capacity building training and financial support of Rs.50,000 each.

Keerisuddan CBO together with its members proposed a women group (03 women in the group) to get this assistance from Caritas. As a result, this group started a goat farm. The members are very happy to see the multiplication of 5 goats  in to 10 goats within a short period. 

The group out of its generosity and social responsibility has decided to save 5% from their income for the education of poor children in the village.
