Caritas Valvuthayam Mannar is a Catholic Socioeconomic & Community Development Centre of the Diocese of Mannar. It is operating in collaboration with Caritas Sri Lanka SEDEC which is affiliated with the Caritas Internationalis network of 162 Catholic Relief Development and Social Service Organizations.

CFD started on 31st January 1999 to serve People with Disabilities over the Mannar district.

Educational support to children from vulnerable families by providing them with financial assistance.

Promotes environmental protection and conservation by forming groups of youth, children, and villagers.
Provides support during crises such as economic downturns and conflicts.
