Madhu shrine in Mannar is a popular pilgrimage and tourist attraction. Because of the environment of the retail malls near Madhu Road junction, other sites are full of polythene and plastics products by visitors. Madhu Road Environment Protection Group youth held a peaceful demonstration. Cleaning work was also done by youngsters and adults and the members of Pradhesha Saba of Nanattan working together.
