Speech & Language therapy clinic was successfully organized by Caritas-Valvuthayam’s Early Intervention of Childhood Project and with the help of Nuffield Speech and Language School in Jaffna.
The Speech therapy clinic was held on Friday and Saturday in the villages of Adamban, Andankulam, Vaddakandal, Parappukadanthan, Kuruvil, Thevanpiddy, Sannar in the Manthai west Divisional Secretariat and Pesalai and Thoddaveli under Mannar Divisional Secretariat. Orthotic devices fitting & Delivery clinic for 14 children with disabilities in the Manthai West and Varod rehabilitation Centre in Vavuniya was successfully completed.
As part of Early Intervention Programme, Orthotic Device Fitting Delivery Clinic was held on 18.10.2022 at Mannar and on 20.10.2022 at the Center for Disabled in Varod Vavuniya by Caritas-Valvuthayam. Continuous observational treatment for speech and language therapy was held on 21.10.2022 , 22.10.2022 in the villages of Thevanpitty, Anthonyarpuram, Katalampitti, Ilupakkadavai,, Snnanr, Vidathalthivu, Andankulam, Kuruvil, Peslai, and Thoddaveli as part of Caritas-Valvuthyam’s Early Intervention program. Our Mannar Institution has completed the 3rd Batch the Final Assessment on 06-11-2022 & 07-11-2022. (NVQ level 3)
Valvuthayam Vocational Training Institute has successfully completed the NVQ level 3 Final Assessment for batch CAA/2022/B3 students on 06,07-11-2022. In total 19 candidates participated in the final assessment and all of them got through the exam. This computer application assistance project was funded by MM Foundation.
