Distribution of Poultry chicks.
Caritas valvuthayam of Mannar distributed poultry chicks to 42 number of selected beneficiaries. Such as, differently able persons, widows, more family members,low income and women headed families from the DS divisions of Madhu, Manthai west and Nanattan.This event was held on 06th of May 2021 under the Food Security programme.
Capacity Building Programme for Farmers.
Caritas valvuthayam Mannar organized and conducted a capacity building program on organic farming for farmers through the Food Security program at Kalmadhu on 30th April 2021.Agriculture Instructor also participated and facilitated this event.
Prosthetic devices were delivered to the amputees at Batticaloa.
Through the CFD unit, Caritas-Valvuthayam conducted 3 mobile P&O clinic services at Batticaloa to assess and deliver the Prosthetic devices for the selected beneficiaries from the district of Batticaloa. Housing Project orientation workshop for newly selected MISEREOR funded housing project scheme.
Caritas-Valvuthayam has received the endorsed housing beneficiary list from respective divisional level government authorities for Misereor funded housing project scheme for War affected Refugee returned families from India. Youth exposure to middle range farms in the districts of Mullaitivu and Trincomallee

Caritas – Valvuthayam has completed the Final Assessment. (NVQ level 3)
Caritas Valvuthayam Vocational Training Institute has successfully completed the NVQ level 3 Final Assessment for batch 5th 6th & 7th students on 17th & 18th April 2021. In total 24 number of students participated the final assessment and all of them got through the examination successfully.
