Advocacy empowerment awareness training workshop for Refugee Returnees from India.

Advocacy initiative awareness one day training session was organized on available government public services and other service providers for refugee returned beneficiary families in Mannar district. The training was held at Caritas-Valvuthayam on 12th April 2021 and in total 46 beneficiary participants participated the training session. The child probation officer attached with Social service department at Manthai West Divisional Secretariat of Mannar district facilitated the training session.  The objective of this training workshop was to empower participants and make vigilant on available government public services for refugee returned families and available referral networking services locally to address and find solutions to identified community social issues and needs. The awareness training workshop was implemented under Korea caritas-funded Refugee returnees’ project.
