Caritas-Valvuthayam under Inter Religious Forum initiatives conducted an educational training programme in the heading of ‘Religious values for the personality development of children’ on 08th of August 2021. 40 children from the target villages namely Alawakkai and Chemmanthivu actively participated in the training programme. Through group works, games, question and answer methods, the resource person boosted the children’s enthusiasm, learning and active contribution/involvement. The resource person was happy and fully satisfied with children’s participation and feedback about the session.
Training contents;
- Child development process in the womb.
- Influence of parents’ faith and religious involvements.
- Children’s religious world today.
- Children’s talents development areas/opportunities.
In the review process/feedback review, the children shared their experience and learning as such;
- Children openly acknowledged their knowledge improvement on religious values for their personality development.
- They valued the training as the most important opportunity to improve their knowledge & skill.
- Training delivery methodology had paved way for all children to express their opinions and inputs.
- Based on the training contents, they have gathered knowledge on religious leaders, personality of world intellectuals and importance of education.
- It was a good opportunity for them to be together and be happy together.
