Under the food security programme, Caritas Valvuthayam Mannar organized a Capacity Building programme for School Children at Keerisuddan, Vilaththikulam, Parasankulam and Mullikkulamvillages of the DS division of Madhu on 16th and 17thof August 2021.
This programme was held at the homes of model farmers incorporate with the children in the villages. Agriculture instructors also participated as a resource person and explained how to make the Compost, Asola and pesticide through the practical life, further CV distributed four varieties of seed packs and handouts on organic home gardening to promote and encouragetheir daily organic home gardening activities.
