On 25th March 2023, Caritas Valvuthayam organized a Speech and Language Therapy workshop for SHG group members and parents of children with disabilities at Thevanpiddi village in Manthai West DS division. The workshop focused on the importance of speech and language in early childhood, the development of speech and language in early developmental milestones, identifying speech and language delay in children with disabilities, providing care at home, the role of parents, and prevention of speech and language impairments.

The workshop was attended by 25 beneficiaries and provided a valuable opportunity for participants to learn about speech and language therapy and how to support children with disabilities in their development. Caritas Valvuthayam remains committed to empowering and supporting individuals with disabilities and their families through education and access to vital services.
