Caritas-Valvuthayam in coordination of Centre for Disabled unit organized a physiotherapy and counselling camp.

At the request of 2nd mile post CBO, Caritas-Valvuthayam in coordination of Centre for Disabled unit organized a physiotherapy and counselling camp, at which 14 patients for physiotherapy and 4 patients for counselling participated. The beneficiaries requested to do this programme on a regular basis each month.

Same time, an awareness raising programme under the funding assistance of Stromme Foundation Child Rights and Women protection training organized for parents and youth at 2nd mile post village. In this programme the Principals from Kaddayadamban and 2nd Mile Post schools along with OIC Police Madhu, CRPO, WDO, consultant of teachers and GN, 120 beneficiaries participated from Thekkam, Poomalarnthanand 2nd Mile Post villages. The officials explained about the importance of child rights and protection of child and women; the OIC police spoke about the rights and relevant rules on Children and Woman. The CRPO also explained about the rights of child and gave a brief awareness on COVID-19.
