Under the food security project, Caritas Valvuthayam Mannar organized an awareness programme for mothers on nutrition food. Mid wife of Vavuniya clinic center was the resource person of the above programme. She explained about the importance of nutrition in day today life,the ways in which a person can get nutritional food from home garden, preparation of healthy food,maintain the nutrition level and how to produce organic food at home.
135 beneficiaries participated in this programme for the following preschools : Nelukkulam preschool, Ikkiyam preschool-Nelukkulam,Health care centre-Nelukkulam,Kanara preschool -Veppankulam.This programme was conducted on 25th, 28 th and 29th of September 2020.
