IHD – Civic Dialogue Special Project for Mannar Diocese Release of documentary movie.

IHD -Civic Dialogue Special Project has been supported by Caritas Korea. It’s a joint venture of Caritas Sri Lanka (SEDEC) and Caritas Valvuthayam,Mannar. This project is realized in the diocese of Mannar covering two districts Mannar and Vavuniya. One of our main activities are organizing the youth and facilitating them with the awareness on socio-cultural and political status of the nation and various capacity building workshops are organized to progress their quality of life. As an outcome of all these programs our youth directed and produced a documentary film which evidently portrays different social issues.

On 18th December Christmas celebration was organized by the headship of Rev. Fr. Anton, director Caritas-Valvuthayam. On this, the documentary film was released by Most Rev.Dr.Immanuvel Fernando Bishop of Mannar. Correspondingly it was released in Caritas Valvuthayam YouTube, FB and Caritas social network channels.
