Livelihood Revolving Loan Scheme Empowers Self-Help Groups in Mannar District for Sustainable Livelihood Activities

283 Self-help Groups (SHGs) members of Valvuthayam runs CBOs in Mannar district were supported with livelihood revolving loan scheme to enhance their ongoing livelihood activities such as paddy cultivation, high land crops, livestock rearing and other small business. Caritas-Valvuthayam Director Rev. Fr. S. Anton distributed the revolving funds to the respective CBO members and he encouraged the beneficiaries to use this funds to their requested livelihood activity respectively which will ensure the sustainability of their earning activity.
