Speech therapy clinic was successfully organized by Caritas-Valvuthayam’s Early Intervention of Childhood Project and with the help of Nuffield Speech and Language School in Jaffna. The Speech therapy clinic was held on Monday and Tuesday in the villages of Adamban, Andankulam, Vaddakandal, Parappukadanthan, Kuruvil, Thevanpiddy,  Sannar in the Manthai west Divisional Secretariat and Pesalai and Thoddaveli under Mannar Divisional Secretariat. Children with speech and language impairments were visited and given speech and language therapy. In this, 11 children with speech and language impairments were identified and treated accordingly.
